Crossroads iPhone Application

I've been working on developing a couple of applications for different mobile devices and most recently the iPhone. Being an iPhone user myself, I thought I would be great to have an actual mobile site for the iPhone in which I could add to my phone.

YouVersion-Beta

YouVersion is designed by Lifechurch.tv. They officially released the first public beta version and you need to check it out.This is a project that Bobby Gruenewald and Terry Storch have been working on. YouVersion is a Web 2.0 online Bible that allows you to do a few different things.

Here is what you can do:

• Read the Bible in different versions
• Apply images, videos, links, and text to verses or series of verses
• With YouVersion you have the power to share your content with your closest friends, family, or anyone online!
• Create an online journal
• Highlight and reference verses and content
• And there is a lot more to come...

Microsoft Surface

I have to say that I'm not a huge Microsoft fan but this is pretty cool. If you haven't had a chance to check out "surface" yet you need to go www.microsoft.com and see it for yourself. Its basically a coffee table right out of the movie Minority Report. It uses a touch screen to operate it and it does some pretty cool things. I think this would be a great entertainment piece in my house for showing pictures, surfing the web, or at least a conversation piece.  Of course this isn't available yet and i think it's going to restaurants first. Anyway...check it out.

New itunes feature...

Finally...no DRM (digital rights management) on iTunes. So basically you can play your music now on other music players and an unlimited number of computers. I'm looking forward to see how this works on my other ipods and computers.
